ACCESSIBILTY FOR YOU!
This website has been set up to allow users to change the size of text used to help those with poor eyesight. We have chosen a contrasting background and the minimum of graphics to enhance the text. All the graphics have alternative text boxes, which can be read by screen readers.

HOW CAN I MAKE THE TEXT BIGGER ON THIS PAGE?
This guide is assuming that you are using Internet Explorer 5 or higher.

1. On the top menu bar CLICK ON "VIEW".

2. Look for the option: "TEXT SIZE".

3. Then you can choose to change the text size from Largest Text through to Very Small. (The standard setting is MEDIUM). Click on your choice with your left mouse button and the text will change size.

WHAT IS A SCREEN READER?

Screen readers are software programmes that present graphics and text as speech. A screen reader is used to verbalize, or "speak," everything on the screen including names and descriptions of control buttons, menus, text, and punctuation.

WHAT'S IS A TALKING BROWSER?
Different from a screen reader, the WeMedia Talking Browser becomes the actual browser through which anyone can surf the Net. Complete with large buttons and keystroke commands for easy navigation, the browser 'speaks' the text you select within the browser.

Go from link to link using the up and down arrows on your keyboard; select the text you would like to read, or let the browser read the entire page. There's a helpful tutorial page that will help you get started, and tell you more about how to use the keystroke commands to navigate the browser.
