Fawley & Hythe Historians
The Waterside has two local history groups of long standing. The Fawley Historians & the Hythe & District Historians who have, over many years, been collecting information, data, memories and photographs on the history and development of the Waterside.

Areas of interest include the work of the British Power Boat Company, the development of Hovercraft, Imperial Airways and the involvement of Calshot in the history of flight.
